REPRODUCTION
OF THE
SISTINE CHAPEL
CEILING

Natalie Gray painting a reproduction of the Sistine Chapel Ceiling

Natalie is also a self-taught artist with a completely unplanned series of accomplishments in the world of art.

For instance, in 2001 she found herself commissioned to paint a reproduction of the Sistine Chapel Ceiling on Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles. Following this project, Natalie found herself in a place of dark introspection and discovered a new process through which to express herself: abstract painting. Initially painting for the therapeutic benefits she found in the process, Natalie soon found herself with a solo show at the Frank Gehry designed Edgemar Center for the Arts where she was deemed 'The next Jackson Pollock.'

Her work was sent to international auctions where it went on the block alongside originals by Picasso, Dali and Chagal. Natalie has since graced the cover of Ottawa Life Magazine and was the featured artist in both American Contemporary Art Magazine and California Contemporary Art Magazine.
